There are many individuals across the world that have shaped, and continue to influence the industry, but who are they?
The trade organisation represents the Scotch whisky industry and plays an important role in the promotion and protection of the whisky industry in Scotland and around the world.
The aim of the association is to encourage the growth of craft distilling in Scotland by assisting the development of its members, through accreditation, promotion, market development and ongoing innovation.
Is by invite only. To be inducted as a Keeper is a recognition of an outstanding contribution to the Scotch whisky industry for at least five years. Individuals are nominated to join, and there are now more than 2,500 Keepers and 150 Masters of the Quaich, who have at least 10 years’ service as a Keeper, from all over the world.
Inductions take place during one of the society’s ceremonies, held at Blair Castle in Pitlochry. Keepers of the Quaich receive a medal and are eligible to wear the society's registered tartan.
With their permission, we intend to list, profile and share the stories of Keepers of the Quaich, so watch this space.
